An excellent hotel - professional staff, clean and well designed rooms

The restaurant is a bit on the pricey side - especially if you choose to have a beer with your meal (80,000 Rp versus 35,000 - 40,000 in our hotels)...

The pool and sauna are available here, and it's an easy walk to all attractions; our favorite place, we highly recommend it.

Very pleasant room and lovely bathroom - clean, comfortable and stylish. The swimming pool on the 12th floor overlooking the city was really amazing. Pleasant staff. The restaurant on the top floor and the bar are to open shortly, completing all the ingredients for an excellent stopover in the city

The room and facilities were good, providing enhanced comfort. The staff on the 12th floor were very friendly and provided great service. The 19th floor dining experience was superb, especially the barbecue dinner. The location of this place was perfect, being in the shopping district with many restaurants nearby.

The only minor issue we had was with the front office team. We had requested for the bill to be prepared the day before our early check-out, but it wasn't ready when we checked out at 6 A.M.

The staff - they were awesome and the most helpful compared to other hotels we stayed at, particularly with regards to travelling around the city. Was a friendly environment generally and the breakfast was good.

Receptionist was too slow, and it was only 1 receptionist in check out time (morning). During check in also was very slow. Hot water was not sufficient in the morning.

The staff at Aston Makassar went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. They provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and promptly delivered an iron to my room when requested. The breakfast menu had a variety of delicious options, including local delicacies. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, ensuring a relaxing stay.

Rooms are clean and well equipped. Staff are friendly.

It took a long time to get served at reception. We were charged 3x higher price for our last night than for the other nights but were not informed about this, or the fact that we were entitled to join the New Year party, until the following day when it was already too late.

Hotel staff front desk well skilled, and facility nice. Thank you for quiet rooms, and non smoking.

The hotel is located in a very convenient area, close to the main beach and the city center, with many good restaurants nearby. the rooms and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable, with facilities such as a swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. the staff was very friendly and helpful, providing tips for getting around and even arranging a special anniversary surprise for us. the breakfast had a good selection of local delicacies and a nice view of the city.

The internet connection in the hotel was very poor, making it difficult to plan future travel arrangements.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home. The hotel was very clean and had excellent facilities including a relaxing spa, a refreshing swimming pool, and a well-equipped gym. We really enjoyed the wide variety of food options available for breakfast, including both local dishes and Western favorites. Additionally, we loved the convenient location near the city center and next to a supermarket, which made it easy to get around and stock up on any essentials we needed.

Couldn't find any faults at all.

Our room was clean and spacious with a breathtaking view of the city from the balcony. the pool area was also peaceful and serene, perfect for a romantic escape. the location was convenient, close to many restaurants and shops.

We were not impressed with breakfast. the food tasted below average and the staff was slow at refilling empty dishes.
